If you are restoring your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to custom iOS 4.3.3 firmware and you are getting an error 3194, not to worry….there’s an easy solution.

Apparently the issue is due to a Cydia bug that is going to get fixed soon.

The solutions are 2 both for Mac and Win users:

1- Edit the /etc/hosts file as described at the bottom of this post

OR

2-  Download the latest version of TinyUmbrella for Windows or for Mac

Switch to Advanced tab and uncheck Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit option.

Click on Applying changes and reboot
