I know we are still very far away from Christmas but apparently the guys at The Mirror are already thinking of their gifts.

Apple’s iPad 2 is set to become the top ten most sought after gadget on Christmas this year. Well…by Christmas there will be the new iPad that is allegedly coming around September. Nevertheless the famous tablet is still set to become the most wanted gift.

The tablet computer, worth £429, topped a “most wanted” list by Dixons. Apparently Dixons said that customers are buying early “rather than being hit all in one go”.

The cheapest item on the list is Amazon’s Kindle worth just £111. The electronic book reader is the second most wanted gizmo this year. But also here things can change because Amazon is planning to release their new Amazon tablet by fall.

Sony’s CA Series laptops, worth £645, are said to be the dearest.
