Alpine Crawler is the Mac OS X version of the well-known iOS version that has recently been joined by another off-road climbing adventure game called Desert Crawler.

Alpine Crawler is basically a cross-country race against time and a rough terrain on board of a powerful 4×4. The car has a health status and if you don’t pay attention to the holes and dips and hills on the terrain, it can get damaged pretty badly.

The game is real fun: game controls are easy, graphic is not HD but very good for being a free game. Sounds are very realistic and rewarding. A negative note is that there are only 6 levels, same as in the iPhone paid version. A positive note, not a killing game  for a change.
