This week I’ve chosen a great utility as the ‘Application of the Week’.

The iOS app Perfect Downloader for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, has actually been updated today with some new features.

Perfect Downloader is a very powerful download manager, but what makes this app unique, is the built-in media converter that can convert WMA and APE files to iOS friendly AAC and video files like AVI, FLV, WMV to MP4.

What makes Perfect Downloader even more unique, is the ability to play the downloaded video and audio files on your iOS device, or transfer them to your computer or use the newly added feature to play videos with the TV-Out.

The app has a lot more features: a built-in web browser to help you handling the downloading of files, a file manager that supports pdf, doc, els, ppt and lots more document’s formats.
A video player that supports AirPlay, file sharing via HTTP, FTP, Dropbox support and a lot more features.

Great application, definitely worth its price.
