According to a Business Insider report, the file sharing and storage service Dropbox, declined an $800 million acquisition offer from Apple.
The extremely popular application has, for the time being, allegedly not accepted the deal and preferring to remain independent. According to MacRumors, the company has since raised a new round of funding at a $4 billion valuation.
For those who never used this file sharing application, Dropbox allows its users to access their files ‘dropped in the box’ from nearly everywhere via cloud. The app offers a 2GB free storage for all users and 50GB or 100GB paid upgrades.
