The extremely popular cross-platform instant messaging app can be, with a tweak, installed on iPod touch and on iPad.

Before describing the method that will allow you to install the iPhone only app on other iOS devices, you need to know that this will only work on jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Furthermore, we don’t have every single device with every possible iOS available at our disposable, therefore we cannot guaranty it will work on all devices.

-Install the utility

-Connect the iPod touch or the iPad to your computer

-In iTunes, download WhatsApp Messenger

-Launch the iPhone Configuration Utility and from the left-hand side select the iPod touch or the iPad and click on the Applications tab.

-Drag the downloaded WhatsApp form iTunes to the Desktop

-Click on Add IPA and navigate to the Desktop location where you’ve placed WhatsApp

-Click on Install

-Launch Cydia (only jailbroken devices) and search for WhatsPad. Under the Big Boss repo, install the first result (free) and reboot the device after installation.
