Jailbreaking your iOS device just got a lot easier today!
As announced by MuscleNerd on Saturday, the Dev-Team has released late on Sunday night its new updated and completely redesigned redsn0w 0.9.9b1.
This new version sees some major key improvements, but certainly the main one is that you’ll no longer need to download the bulky 550MB software bundle and point redsn0w to it.
With this latest version, redsn0w detects your IPSW and downloads the files required for the jailbreak directly from the Apple’s servers.
The downloaded files are then stored in the redsn0w cache in case you need to re-perform the same jailbreak in the future.
Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 can jailbreak any device except the iPad 2 that can only be jailbroken on 4.3.3 using JailbreakMe 3.0
Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 supports iOS 5, iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 4.3.3
