Apple did it again…I know what you’re thinking: they’ve sued Samsung again, that will only happen tomorrow, lolz.
Instead what the Cupertino-based company has done for the eight consecutive year, is to satisfy customers above all other computer OEMs.
Apple has been elected by users as the top PC company at the Annual Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).
Out of a possible 100 points, the Californian company scored 87 points, which is one point higher than 2010 and nine points higher that its closest rival HP (78).
The survey that involved over 70,000 users was conducted at the Apple Stores around the country [totally kidding!]. Let’s try again: ACSI interviewed close to 450 companies and federal or local government services into 10 different economic sectors.
ACSI founder Claes Fornell summed up Apple’s performance which keeps it at the top of the ACSI: “In the eight years that Apple has led the PC industry in customer satisfaction, its stock price has increased by 2,300 percent. Apple’s winning combination of innovation and product diversification–including spinning off technologies into entirely new directions–has kept the company consistently at the leading edge.”
