We have three more days to wait before Apple’s iPhone 4S hits the retail stores and for some of the most hardcore Apple fanboys that can wait no more, camping outside the Apple Stores, hoping to be among the first ones to snatch the new handset, is the only alternative.
Outside the same Covent Garden store in London, the same that yesterday was hit by a smash-and-grab robbery, few people are already parked outside the store with their chairs and sleeping bags.
Despite the initial malcontent for the lack of a new and completely redesigned iPhone 5, there’s certainly excitement and trepidation in the air for the ‘new’ iPhone.
On Tuesday the iPhone 4S got benchmarked and turns out the smartphone is 68 percent faster than the iPhone 4.
So far the iPhone 4S has broke all expectations, with its one million devices pre-ordered in 24 hours.
