The cat-fight between Apple and Samsung in Australia is getting juicier!
Earlier last week Apple turned down Samsung’s settling proposal for the Galaxy Tab dispute that has dragged for months.
Probably not happy with that, the Koreans rented a pop-up shop literally meters away from Apple’s retail store in Sydney and within a few days they were open for business.
But wait, it gets better: Samsung is offering the new Galaxy S II smartphone to the first 10 customers each day for $2 without any contract either!
Since Monday there have been people queuing to secure this unreal deal and probably tempting consumers away from the Apple Store.
On Friday at 8am the iPhone 4S will be in the stores and Samsung is probably hoping to capitalize on the increased foot traffic and probably sell some of its flagship handset to potential iPhone buyers that inevitably will be left without a phone as the shop will run dry.
