A new firm called Backify offers an insane 512GB of totally free unencrypted online backup storage, no strings attached. The only limitation you have, besides the 512GB, is that they only allow you to register one computer per account.

The company also offers an Unlimited Backup service for $3 a month, and this allows to a max of 5 computers and a $5 a month plan that is also unlimited and offers syncing between computers.

Another good thing about the service is that the company provides a software to install on your computer that will take care of backups for you.

Earlier this week the online cloud storage server Box.net offered, only for the next 45 days, a generous 50GB of free storage for all iOS device owners that are using the newly launched iCloud syncing service.
