Sad Robot: a very entertaining old-school game that will test your reaction time. You are controlling the robot by tilting your device left and right and you need to grab coins to unlock new characters and improve power-up effects. Nice music and great controls. Free

Elder Sign: Omen HD. The iPad version of this popular iPhone board game is now available. You are in control of four investigators and you need to fight to keep the all-powerful Azathoth from invading our world through a museum’s arcane exhibits. Very well designed and challenging. If you liked Lovecraft, you’ll like this one too. $6.99

Chicken Rescue: help the mama chicken to rescue her lost chicks. Tilt your device or use the virtual joystick to guide the hen and avoid barrels, angry pigs and other obstacles. Very vivid colors, highly polished and beautifully designed. $0.99

The Moogies: from the game-maker Chillingo, comes this interactive cartoon game that kids aged 2-6 will certainly love. Interact with the comical Moogies characters, make a phone call to any of the 9 Moogies and speak to them while watching and interacting with various objects in the comical scenes.
