After all the efforts made by hackers and developers to port Siri on iPhone 4, iPod touch and iPad, Apple may be considering to grant iPhone 4 users to get the digital assistant.

According to a couple of different reports, there’re big chances to see Siri coming to older devices officially, without the need to jailbreak or illegally make use of iPhone 4S copyrighted files.iphone-siri

Apple has allegedly seeded on some of their employees iPhone 4, a special build of iOS 5 which includes Siri.

According to sources close to jailbreaknation, after successfully testing this special version of iOS 5, Apple restored the employees’ iPhone 4 to stock software to avoid them using the feature in public where they could have been noticed….although I don’t really understand how you could tell the difference between an iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 model!

This secrecy suggests that we may see this new Siri-powered iOS 5 soon. Apple was pleased with the iPhone 4 performance but apparently, due to the poor microphone quality, the iPod touch 4G didn’t please the testers.

Bare in mind that this is not a sure thing but millions of iPhone users are certainly hoping so.
