If you are struggling with the battery life of your iOS device, Philips released a few days ago a useful and free app that can help you lengthening the battery’s duration.
BatterySense is not going to tweak your battery or anything. What it does is checking the current battery charge and according to the duration you want to get out of your charge, suggests ways to preserve your battery life.
I’ve played around with it a little bit and I was trying to get an extra couple of hours out of my charge and the app suggested to turn off push notifications. Then I’ve asked for an extra 6 hours (that’s pushing it) and suggested to turn on Airplane Mode.
The home screen can give you an indication of what you can do with your current level of charge. With my 93% battery I have 270 hours stand by, or 5hrs of gaming, or 6hrs 20mins of talk time, 9hrs 30 mins of video playback, etc.
Cool app, and free makes it better. BatterySense if free to download from App Store
