Swackett is a new gem among the free apps available from the iTunes App Store.

For sure you’ve tried lots of weather apps but this one has a whole new approach to delivering you the weather forecast: why do you normally look at the weather forecasts? Either because you are going away for the weekend or because you want to know what clothes to wear according to the weather.

Swackett will give you an easy-to-understand visual report not with the usual forecasts and statistics, but with avatars which will be dressed for you according to the outside weather.

Once you’ve installed the app, enter your location and adjust the settings if your prefer Fahrenheit or Celsius temperatures and you are good to go. The app gives you the option to create an account, but you can skip that.
The app includes current, today, tonight and tomorrow conditions and they’ll all be presented with dresses (or undressed it it’s hot) avatars.

But it gets better: as soon as you turn your device to landscape, the app reveals a detailed forecast with additional data for the entire week. If you tap on a specific day, or time of the day, to get even more info.
