Unfortunately after passing 40 years of age, the eyes start deteriorating especially if you spend a lot of time in front of the computer and reading small fonts, especially on the iPhone and iPod touch, can become a tedious business.
There’s a great app in the iTunes App Store called Voice Reader Text to Speech 2.4 that can read documents, an email or any manually entered text.
Even students, who don’t have eyesight issues, are finding that hearing their study material helps them retaining more.
Voice Reader can basically read any text. The quality of the voice is professional and clear and you can choose between 32 voices and 21 major languages.
The app is also a great learning tool for foreign language study as well as for preparing a multi-lingual presentation.
Voice Reader is available from the iTunes App Store for $1.99 but for three days only it’s offered at the special price of $0.99
