The UK-based consumers magazine Which?, recently released a list of the best 50 gadgets you can buy for your X-mas presents.

Especially when it comes to electronic gadgets, consumers generally tend to purchase the most expensive brand, or the most popular one, sticking to the names they know. This doesn’t mean you are actually buying the best product available on the market.

The firm tested 2,700 makes and models of a different range of products and they’ve narrowed down their selection to the 50 most efficient, best bang for bucks, least likely to go wrong and most likely to do the job properly.

As you can see the Apple’s iPad is listed as the best tablet currently available on the market but the iPhone 4S didn’t make it.

Instead the Samsung Galaxy S II has been selected as the best smartphone currently available on the market. If you’ve seen one of the Galaxy S II at work, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Too bad the Galaxy S II is not running iOS or it would definitely be the best smartphone to date.
