Don’t ask me why because I don’t have an answer, but it seems that from time to time the iPhone’s Home button can become less responsive to clicks. It did happen to my iPhone that I had to press a few times before the phone reacted, or sometime there would be a delay.
Gladly the guys from iDownloadBlog have found a simple and effective fix that will resolve the issue.
To fix unresponsive Home bottom
-Open a default iOS app such as Weather, Calculator or Stocks.
-Press and hold the Power button until you see the ‘Slide to Power Off’. Don’t slide and release the Power button instead.
-Press and hold the Home button until the ‘Slide to Power Off’ disappears
The method really works and my Home bottom seems to response quicker. But if your issues persist even after this quick fix, you may want to have the button checked out by Apple’s repair experts.
