Installous, the famous Cydia application that allows you to browse through and download cracked app directly from your iPhone, is now supporting iOS 5.x.

Now that an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 is available for all Apple handheld devices except for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, you can follow this tutorial to easily jailbreak your device and the tutorial that follows to install cracked apps via Installous.

NOTE: installing cracked apps is illegal and it should be done for evaluation purposes only. If you like an application, do buy it from the iTunes App Store.

Installous allows you to search for any iOS application in a manner similar to that of the Apple iTunes Store. There’s a detailed description, ratings and screenshots.

- Launch Cydia, click Manage on the bottom bar and Sources in the middle of the screen

- Add Hackulous Source To Cydia by clicking the Edit button located in the top right corner then Add button in the top left corner

- Type the following URL and click Add Anyway

- Let it load all the packages. Be patient.

- Once done, on the Cydia screen again, Search for Installous, select Install on the top right corner

- Wait for the app to install and reboot your device.

- After closing Cydia you will see the new Installous icon on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad desktop

Browse for various applications via the various Installous categories or search for a specific application to install.
