Redsn0w 0.9.10b5 versions, both for Mac and Windows users, will jailbreak in untethered mode iPhone 4 (CDMA and GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPad (1st generation) and iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation).
If you have an iPhone 4S or iPad 2, follow this tutorial to jailbreak. After you’ve done, install iWipe if you have white icons or if they’ve disappeared.
NOTE: If you already have iOS 5.0.1 jailbroken in tethered mode, simply run redsn0w 0.9.10 over the current jailbreak (DESELECTING ‘Install Cydia’) to have an untethered jailbreak.
