As of Wednesday, iPad users have a new place to purchase ebooks.
Amazon has launched an iPad optimized Kindle Store that can be visited from your mobile Safari, and once logged in you’ll be able to browse and purchase ebooks.
If you remember, Amazon use to have an application for iOS devices but it was removed earlier last year after Apple changed its policy for apps linking to external sources. After that iOS users had to download ebooks from Amazon.com and sync them with their devices.
The Kindle store for iPad is very well-organized and its content nicely laid out. The site uses iOS-friendly HTML5 animation.
Visit from your iPad and see what you think.
