A new lightweight and very handy utility for Mac OS X Lion, will make a lot of users happy.
When Apple introduced Lion, they thought it would have been a good idea to hide the scrollbars. They are still there, but they only appear when you scroll or when you move the mouse over it.
I, for example, use the scrollbars as place maker, and I prefer to have it visible at all time.
Lion allows you to change the behavior of the scrollbar, but it will be applied universally across your Mac.
The great thing about OS X Lion Scrollbars, is that lets you change the scrollbar behavior of only specified app, and even choose different behavior for different apps.
Upon installation, the utility will load a list of your installed apps. From the list you can choose if you want to have a single universal behavior for all apps, or you can specify a different one for each app.
On top of the System default behavior, you have an extra 3 options: Automatically, When scrolling or Always. You can go wild here and customize it the way your prefer it.
The app is still in beta and for some reason it’s not working with Safari or Chrome…but works fine with all other apps I’ve tested.
