The well-known Gameloft has introduced on Thursday a new game into the iTunes App Store.

The free Urban Crime is vaguely similar to the fantastic GTA and the developer made one version which compatible with iPhone and iPad devices.

In Urban Crime you play as a young criminal trying to survive in the gang-controlled Miami and hoping to become a big boss of the city’s organized crime.

The game has good enough full-3D graphics and the controls are well laid out and responsive…but when you are riding a bike or driving a car, it gets a bit more complicated.

Although the game is free to download and play, it’s one of those freemium games where if you want to progress in the game or not having to wait to get your strength back, you’ll actually have to ‘show them some money’.
Since the game it’s free, you can actually try it out and see if it’s your type of game and if you would like to pay for it.

All in all it’s a good game…nothing WOW and nothing particularly innovative but it’s entertaining.
