On Wednesday Hutch released the fast-paced Smash Cops onto the iTunes App Store for iPad and iPod gamers.
Unfortunately the game lived in the App Store for less than 24 hours and removed for an admin issue.
The developer of this beautiful 3D chase-’em-up game said “Hutch is disappointed to announce that Smash Cops has temporarily been withdrawn from sale in the App Store,”
“This is due to an unforeseen administrative problem. Before our transgression was detected we were briefly on sale in the Southern hemisphere and 5000 lucky gamers did get hold of the game before it was withdrawn.”
If you were not one of the lucky ones, fret not because Hutch said that Smash Cops will be back on the App Store Jan 19th.
Meanwhile, I had the chance to play with the game and all I can say is that it’s a very nice game and you should certainly get it when it’s back in the store.
It takes a little to get used to the one-touch steering and sometimes your hand gets in front of the screen and you can’t see your car any more…but it’s not a big deal. In the game you control a police car and you are chasing criminals around the city streets. The game sports very nice 3D graphic and great animation.
Upon its return, Smash Cops will be $2.99
