We know that we are getting closer to a new gadget release when spare parts start appearing from Chinese online retailers.
I’m talking of the rumored iPad 3 that will allegedly be released before the end of March 2012, with a new HD screen and it may incorporate Bluetooth 4.0, the same one that the iPhone 4S uses.
TVC-Mall is a popular online spare retailer that carries parts for Apple devices, and since Friday they are carrying an all new Bluetooth antenna, allegedly for the iPad 3, which is different from the Bluetooth antenna that the iPad 2 is using, as you can see in the photo.
Bluetooth 4.0 standard is less power draining and offers a quicker connection compared to the previous generations.
Not saying this is it and it’s going to happen, but there are strong possibility the Cupertino company will indeed upgrade to the latest Bluetooth technology.
Cult of Mac said in a recent post that the iPad 3 will be thinner than the current version and measurably faster, probably thanks to Apple’s new A6 chips.
The display will have a Retina resolution similar to the iPhone 4 and the battery life should also be noticeably longer.
Bring it on Apple!
