There’re currently a lots of rumors going on around the next generation iPad.
Recent reports from Bloomberg claim that the iPad 3 will sport an high-res display, quad-core processor and LTE (4G) network. The publication also said that Apple’s new tablet would be released within March 2012.
A new report from the Japan-based Macotakara, claims that the iPad 3 launch event will take place in early February and it will be available, at least in the US, in early March.
Meanwhile the Taiwan-based Digitimes says that based on ported leaks, Apple will scale up production of the new tablet to 8 million units for the first three months 2012, and ramp-up by the summer to 10 million units.
As previously rumored, Apple will still keep manufacturing the iPad 2 but its price will be lowered to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet.
Therefore, if you were thinking of purchasing an iPad 2…supposed you can resist the temptation, maybe you should hang-on a little longer and get a brand spanking new iPad 3!
