Is your computer running out of space? Why not uploading your bulky media library to a free cloud service?
Earlier last year I’ve told you about the new storage service for your desktop called Bitcasa: founded by former employees of Mastercard, VeriSign and Mozy, Bitcasa offers infinite storage paired with best in class security via client-side encryption.
The service will allow you to store over the cloud all the data you have in your laptop or desktop giving you total freedom to access them from any computer and from any location.
Bitcasa is still in beta for Mac users and in Alpha for Windows users, while the Linux version will be coming soon.
If you want to try the service, register for the Beta by heading to the Bitcasa site. You’ll receive an email with the instructions to follow for the installation and signing up. While still in Beta the unlimited storage will be free. After that it will cost you $10 a month.
The service is quickly growing and for now it’s still free. Act promptly!
