For all of you guys that like to hang around the dangerous ‘Deep Web‘ or for those who are affected by censorship, a new free tool called Obfsproxy, can transform the Tor traffic between the client and the bridge, and circumvent censorship.tor

Usually censors monitor traffic between the client and the bridge, and thanks to Obfsproxy they will see innocent-looking transformed traffic, instead of the actual Tor traffic.

The app is completely separate and independent from Tor, but the two speak to each others using an internal protocol to minimize necessary end-user configuration.

Detailed installation instructions can be found here.

Obfsproxy is available for Mac, Windows and Linux users, directly from the Tor Project’s website.
