Skype has released on Tuesday an updated version of its VoIP application for iPad and iPhone devices.

The very popular application allows you to chat, text, or have video conferences with other Skype users, as well as sending SMS’s and make phone calls to landlines telephones, as long as you purchase Skype Credit.

Skype works over Wi-Fi network as well as 3G wireless network.

This latest version 3.7 sees some bug fixes and stability improvements for iOS 5.
