SMSNinja is an excellent new and free tweak for iPhone users who are privacy conscious. The app can effectively create a firewall on your device and block, filter, or hide calls, SMS’s and MMS’s.

I don’t know about you, but I often feel overwhelmed by the amount of junk texts I get on my phone and I wish I could change provider…but I know that that would be pointless.

SMSNinja is a feature-rich utility that lets you block text messages and calls from whomever you want…or don’t want actually! The tweak will allow you to screen SMS’s that contain a user-defined keyword, as well as hiding your private messages and calls from prying eyes.

After installing the tweak, you’ll find a new icon on your Springboard. Launch the tweak and enable it before you start adjusting it to suit your preferences. Once done you’ll have to establish which contacts you want to blacklist (they won’t bother you ever again, but you’ll still be able to review the received calls and messages) and the ones you want to whitelist.
You can also block contacts from your call history, from message history, and protect the app itself with a password that will be asked every time you launch it.

All in all an extremely well designed and lightweight tweak that I recommend to all jailbroken iPhone users.
