The very popular transcoding app for Mac machines Handbrake, is now available in a new version that sees numerous improvements and bug fixes.
This latest version will offer a better compression, all codecs have been updated, and few Lion-related bugs fixed.
Unfortunately the issue with the latest version of VLC 2.0 that breaks DVD decryption for Handbrake has not been solved…but that is easily fixable with this free tool released from Videolan.
Furthermore, Mac OS X Leopard is no longer supported by Handbrake 0.9.6, leaving the ever-popular utility useful to Snow Leopard and Lion users.
If you want to know everything down to the bit that has been changed in this version, have a look here at the Release Note.
