Thanks to a great new Mac app called Reflection, iPad 2 (soon also iPad 3) and iPhone 4S users will be able to wirelessly mirror their screen, with audio, to any Mac computer.
Thanks to the streaming feature AirPlay that Apple introduced with their latest gadgets, you’ll be able to wirelessly stream what your iPad 2 or iPhone 4S is displaying, onto any Mac computer.
But that’s not it: the app will let you record the displayed screen activities and save them on your Mac.
Gaming will also be more interesting because you’ll be able to play games on your Mac using your iOS device as a wireless remote.
The setup is very straight forward: after downloading the app, connect your iOS device to the same wireless network as your Mac. Your Mac will appear in the list of devices in the AirPlay options and upon selecting the computer, the screen and audio of your iOS devices with be streamed to your Mac.
The app is not free…wish it was! You can try out Reflection for 10 minutes before buying it. A single license will cost you $14.99 and 5 licenses $$39.99. This is the link to the app.
