The beautiful iOS game Blood & Glory has just been released FREE (for now) for Mac users.

Together with Infinity Blade II, this one is one of my favorite fighting games for iPad…and I’m hoping the Mac version is not going to be disappointing.

Set in the days of the Roman death tournaments, you’ll get to play as a gladiator inside the famous Colosseum in Rome.
Work your way from tournament to tournament and face increasingly stronger opponents. Every time you conclude a fight you’ll be rewarded with silver coins that you can use for purchasing better swords, better shields or stronger armors.

The touch screen gestures on the iPad and iPhone make this game a real pleasure to play but I don’t think it will be as rewarding with the mouse. But hey, the game is free and you should just download and play.

Blood & Glory is available to download from the Mac App Store and needs OS X 10.7.2 or higher.
