Our smartphone are increasingly becoming our inseparable companions and we often store in the devices sensitive information that we need to have handy. Users are becoming more privacy-conscious and adding extra layers of security doesn’t hurt.
I know that you protect your device with passcode and lockscreen, but a new Cydia tweak called DisableLaunch can add more privacy from unwanted prying eyes by completely locking all your apps.
After installing the free tweak, no extra icons will be added to your Springboard, and all the various additions and changes will be made within the Settings app.
From the new pane that the app will appear under Extensions, you’ll be able to set your password that will control your apps, meaning that unless you have the password, you’ll not be able to launch any app.
This is a great solution for your jailbroken iPhone and best of all the tweak is free. As usual launch Cydia and search for DisableLaunch before hitting the Install button.
