Best iOS tweaks: CallBar won’t allow incoming calls to interrupt you

A few days ago I’ve installed on my jailbroken iPhone 4S the excellent tweak CallBar…and I’m positively impressed with it. callbar

The tweak won’t let incoming calls interrupt what you are doing on your device while it’s ringing.
Have you ever been typing an SMS or calling on Viber and suddenly an incoming call messes up what you are doing? Annoying isn’t?

After you’ve installed the tweak when you receive a call it will appear on a bar at the top of the screen. If you want to get the call you swipe right, to decline you swipe left, and to dismiss you use the volume or the sleep buttons.

The app, for jailbroken devices only, displays the caller ID in the bar. If by mistake you dismiss a call, the rejected call keeps, silently, ringing and if you tap on the bar, you have the option to answer the call. It is compatible with FaceTime, Viber, and Skype calls and supports all iDevices on all firmwares 4.x+

Once answered you can turn on the speaker phone and while talking you can keep running whichever app you were busy with when you received the call.

The tweak has other very neat features and as I’ve said this CallBar is well worth the $3.99 that the developer charges.

CallBar 1.0.5 is available through Cydia from the BigBoss repo.
