Here are some custom iOS 4.3.3 IPSW (software bundles) that have been already jailbroken and activated for those in need of unlocking their devices.
The files are clean and good to go. To install, put your device in DFU mode and Restore using iTunes. If you need more help Look Here
Before you start, plug your device into TinyUmbrella and save your SHSH
iPhone 4 (GSM)
- Download iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered - Activated ( for users who are not on official carrier SIM card)
- Download iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered - Unactivated (for users who are on official carrier SIM card)
iPhone 3GS
- Download iPhone 3GS new bootrom iOS 4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered - Activated ( for users who are not on official carrier SIM card)
- Download iPhone 3GS new bootrom iOS 4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered - unactivated (for users who are on official carrier SIM card)
iPad 1 (first generation)
- Download iPad 1 iOS 4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered
iPod touch 3G
- Download iPod touch 3G iOS4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered
iPod touch 4G
- Download iPod touch 4G iOS4.3.3 Custom ipsw firmware untethered
If you get an Error 3194
Have a look at this post or remove Cydia SHSH following one of the 2 methods:
To remove Cydia SHSH
Mac users
Edit HOSTS File on Mac:
- Click Go (on the top Menu bar) -> Go to Folder and then enter path /etc
- open HOSTS file with TextEdit and remove the following line at the end of the file. (If you’re having trouble to edit the file, drag it on the Desktop, Edit it and save it. Then put it back into its location)
gs.apple.com
Once you are done editing, launch iTunes and restore the stock or custom IPSW.
Win users
- Open Notepad with Administrator rights.
- Click on File menu and open the ‘hosts’ file from the following path.
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
- Remove this line from the hosts file, save it onto the desktop, remove the .txt and put it back in the \etc
# gs.apple.com
- Restart the computer.
- Connect your iDevice to computer and restore to custom IPSW
