Waking up this morning you’ll see a new feature on the Apple Store website.

The new addition to Apple’s site is called “Compare a Mac“. The page will give potential buyers and curios alike, the possibility to select any Mac laptop or desktop and compare different model’s specifications, prices and configurations.

Once you’ve selected one machine you are looking at, the new window gives you detailed hardware information with the different upgrading options available. Scroll down and the accordion window will show different Software info as well as the possible upgrades available for the specific machine. Keep scrolling and you’ll get the Technical Specifications and at the very last part of the window will show a very interesting Environmental Status Report.

You can select another machine that will be place right next to the first selection and you can now compare details side to side.

This new page can be used to build your own Mac machine and gives you the option to place your order from within the Compare a Mac page.
