Sony Corp. sent out a notice via its website to 37,500 customers of its film unit, saying that personal information may have been stolen by hackers.
The last month and a half has been really tough for Sony: fourteen attacks, millions of unencrypted personal information including passwords and email addresses hacked from different sites around the world by a group that calls itself LulzSec.
The good news is that LulzSec said, actually tweeted this morning, that they are not going to attack Sony anymore.
Meanwhile Sony Pictures Entertainment is working in conjunction with the FBI to identify the intruders, while Sony Corp. has hired experts to investigate the case and took offline the affected databases.
