There’s a new app for iOS devices called Meteoric Download Manager, which is, arguably, the missing download manager that the iPhone is missing.

You’ve noticed how the iOS won’t allow you to easily download or upload files from the internet.

This app for iPhone and iPad platforms will make your life a lot easier when it comes to download a file.

Using the pretty decent built-in browser, MDM can navigate to a page where there’s the file you want to download and MDM will locate and easily download files linked to an URL, a web page or other sources.

MDM can also download for later watching: browse to the page where the video is shown, and the app will automatically detect it and prompt you to save it. This will save you from watching the video while buffering and allow you to watch Flash content that would otherwise be very difficult.

MDM has some interesting features for an iOS download manager: the app can accelerate downloads, upload to Dropbox, ZIP, UNZIP and UNRAR files, stream MP3 to other iOS powered devices, multiple downloads and lots more.
