According to a CNEt report, Apple will soon introduce a program for its employees that will allow them to borrow an iPad for a period of a week.
The idea behind it is that Apple’s staff should be very familiar with the products they sell, to ultimately be of better assistance to potential customers.
The initiative will first be launched in the flagship Apple Store in San Francisco and eventually will be adopted by other stores as well.
It is not known whether the program will involve also the overseas Apple Stores, but we cannot see why it shouldn’t. Also there are no words regarding the ETA of the program.
An Apple spokesman declined to comment on the program.
Apple’s iOS certainly plays a central role for the company: recent reports are saying that two-thirds of mobile search comes from Apple iOS devices. No wonder Apple wants its employees to know the OS inside-out.
