Skype released on Tuesday a new updated version of its iOS application, adding Bluetooth support for recent devices.
This means that Skype on your iPhone 4 and 3GS, your fourth generation iPod touch and your iPad 2, will be capable of supporting Bluetooth headsets.
The iPhone and iPod touch version has also received an interface redesign and a video quality enhancement with video stabilization. The new UI is now supporting incoming and outgoing emoticons when entered in text form.
Unfortunately those who don’t have Skype Credit, a calling subscription or a premium subscription, will now have to deal with advertising.
Both versions of Skype for iPhone and iPod touch and Skype for iPad are now available to download from the App Store
