Despite all the yap yapping regarding the iPhone 4S, Apple’s latest handset is outselling the iPhone 4…at least the pre-orders.

Within the first 24 hours the iPhone 4S has already ‘sold’ one million units, compared to 600,000 units that the iPhone 4 pre-orders reached last year within the first 24 hours.

Currently the Apple Online stores in the US and internationally are giving a shipping estimate of 1-2 weeks.

If you haven’t been able to book an iPhone 4S, you can always line up at Apple stores at 8 am on October 14th.
