Hi Moh, regarding the applications: the one you’ve downloaded from App Store we’ll be re-installable after upgrading. The Cydia ones you’ll have to re-install . Make sure you back up the device before upgrading. (in iTunes right click the iPhone on the left column and select Back Up. After upgrade, same way but click Restore).
After the upgrade the phone will remain factory unlocked. Before you upgrade save your SHSH with TinyUmbrella. After upgrading to 4.3.3 you can use the Redn0w method and it’ll work perfectly.
I’m not sure about FaceTime in Egypt, but there’s a Cydia application to unlock FaceTime if i remember correctly.
Ciao

Hi,
i know how you feel…always scary when you do your first jailbreaks!!
With a factory unlocked iPhone it’s pretty straight forward process. Your phone will remain unlocked after jailbreaking. i always recommend to save the SHSH with TinyUmbrella before you start the JB process. This is helpful to have if you want to roll things back. But as i said your case it’s easy.
Save the SHSH and then Jailbreak with Redsn0w and you’ll have Cydia. The phone will still be unlocked. You’ll be able to upgrade to iOS 5 when it’s available.
When you upgrade to iOS 5, you’ll have to re-jailbreak iOS 5 with the tools that will be available then.
i Hope this helps.
Cheers

yes you can.
turn on the wi-fi of your device and with Safari go to this site http://www.jailbreakme.com//#
follow the onscreen instructions. It only takes 30 seconds to jailbreak.
After you reboot the device, open Cydia and install Ultrasn0w to unlock
Once done with that, install PDF patcher 2
reboot and you are done
