Sn0breeze 2.8b2 for Windows users has just been released to jailbreak for iOS 5.0b1. iH8sn0w recently uploaded the file and says that the tool will give you an untethered jailbreak for iPhone 3GS old bootrom.
We recommend jailbreaking iOS 5 only to developers and we strongly recommend average users to stay away from upgrading to iOS 5 and from jailbreaking right now. The software is still very much in Beta stage and very buggy.
Sn0breeze 2.8b2 will work for iPhone 4 (GSM and CDMA), iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod touch (3G and 4G)
Do not rely on this version to unlock your baseband and also if you rely on preserving your baseband , do not use this method. You will very likely lose your unlockable baseband if you try to install iOS 5. Sn0breeze WILL NOT HACTIVATE 5.0b1! You need to be an iOS developer with a registered UDID to get past all the new activation screens.
