8mm HD is a new fabulous application released yesterday for iPad and iPad 2 only.

The application will give you the possibility to have modern movies looking like old vintage movies. When i was a kid, my Dad you to take Super 8 films, and when i look at them now, it’s a pleasure to watch them. Well, this application can give you the same results.

You can mix types of films and lenses to create the atmosphere you prefer, with those scratches, light leaks and frame jittering that was typical of 8mm films.

The application also has some great “modern” features that are taking full advantage of your iPad’s capacities. You can switch between the front and back camera for example, adjust the exposure with a tap on the display, and transfer the movies to iTunes via File Sharing or play it on your big screen using the Apple TV and the AirPlay.
