I’ve been using YoruFukurou, a native Twitter client for Mac OS X, for quite some time now….i did try other Twitter applications, even paid ones, but this is by far my favorite.

As you would expect from anything that comes out of Japan,  YoruFukurou (which means night-owl in Japanese) has a very simple and minimalistic User Interface.

In its simplicity, the application managed to retain all essential features needed for Twitter. Also what i like, is the fact that, on the contrary to other app, YoruFukurou doesn’t need a flash plugin to push notifications.

The new version 2.52, has a new application icon. The previous standing owl has now been replaced by a sited one.

Some other bugs have been fixed and a new advanced Twitter search tab has been added.
