Decelerate is a very new application for Apple OS  X, and still free for a limited time.

This very smart app will allow you to customize the acceleration setting of your mouse or trackpad.

While System Preferences can change the tracking speed, it doesn’t actually allow you to modify the factory default acceleration setting.

This is very useful for gamers that don’t want to spend on a Razer mouse:  you can disable mouse acceleration entirely to gain a competitive edge in “twitch” reflexes.

It’s also useful for windows uses that are finding the Mac’s default acceleration too fast for them. Simply lower he mouse acceleration to your likings.

Really good app that normally costs one dollar.
