Animation Desk for iPad, the entertainment app from Kdan Mobile, has won the Best App Award of App Next 2011.

The annual competition held in Taiwan, saw nearly 200 nominees and Animation Desk for iPad took three top awards, including Best Tablet App of the Year, Best User Interface and Best Visual Design.

For those that are not familiar with the application, Animation Desk for iPad allows users to create hand-drawn animations in a very easy way.

The drawing interface of the app, resembles the real working environment of pro animators. A real animation desk within your iPad.

Despite its professional visual design, Animation Desk for iPad is easy and fun to work with. “Our goal is to ensure a pleasant drawing experience for both professionals and amateur animators,” says Kenny Su, CEO of Kdan Mobile Software.

Its developer said that with a new update of the application, planned around mid-august, there will be an iPhone version an a new file transfer feature that will allow transfer between iOS devices, so that users can do a quick sketch on an iPhone, transfer it to an iPad and finish it off.
