Did you think the Apple Vs. Samsung patent war could have spared us for one week? Nah…the South Korea-based electronic giant has filed on Friday four new cases against Apple.
This time around Apple is allegedly guilty for having infringed some 3G technology patents that obviously Samsung owns.
The new lawsuits were filed in the Netherlands and the Koreans are seeking an import ban on sales and trade of all Apple’s iPhone and iPad 2 using the 3G technology.
The ban will not only be limited to Apple but it is said that Samsung is seeking for a ban for five other companies affiliated with the Cupertino company involved in sales and distribution.
On top of that the trade ban encompasses “in particular but not exclusively for the latest products from Apple iPhone 3G, iPhone 4, iPhone 1 and iPhone 2″ says Samsung that is also claiming one million Euros for each violation of the ban on sales and imports.
Samsung added that other mobile manufacturers have been licensed to make use of the patents but Apple hasn’t paid the fees. Naughty Apple.
The two are currently engaged in legal battles in 20 different countries around the world.
