From time to time, definitely not as often as with iOS games, Mac OS X games are free for a limited time.

A Long Way Home: is a mixture of action and puzzle set in space. You are an astronaut lost in space and trying to make your way home. Making you way through 100 levels across 10 stages you must jump from asteroid to asteroid collecting enough dark matter to open a portal to the next level.

The game has a very appropriate music, the one you would expect to hear in a massage parlor. The graphic is nice: nothing extraordinary since you are surrounded by black outer-space. The same title is available for iPad.

A Long Way Home is the total opposite of an action packed game. It’s peaceful calming and game that will put your patient to a test.
